On the road to Nationals

The last couple months we have been working tirelessly through a lot of painstaking mishaps and setbacks. However, we are all excited to be competing at the 2013 AIChE National Chem-E-Car Competition (NEXT WEEKEND!). As the only Canadian team competing with 31 other teams from across North America, we we’re excited to see how our car will perform in California!

And we’re done the EDP

A couple days ago, we finished off the gruelling EDP – somehow the sleep hasn’t followed. We’re still trying to make the car the best we can, so far our upgrades include massive weight reduction, addition much more precise flow control for hydrogen and a safer method of producing hydrogen on board the vehicle.

Besides the fact that the upgraded Dehydrated Water Mobile is much better looking, we will be able to control the hydrogen flow with much greater precision giving us much greater efficiencies.
